Highest Quality Leads

SolarSipper.com has been a massive undertaking both technically and idealistically.

Technically, SolarSipper.com uses completely non-API-dependent processes (via trigonometry for distance calculations and various data structures algorithms for sorting) to achieve extremely fast, high-volume geocoding for multiple purposes, and it uses ajax’ian transport of JSONpadded objects via jQuery’s low-level $.ajax library call, with a layer of added custom Javascript security, to achieve delivery of various “lead” objects between itself and a central lead management heavy-lifting architecture. This is the way in which it is able to effectively “sip” solar leads.

SolarSipper.com also has a giant directory-style UI rendering of data contained from long-term data mining/screen-scraping efforts, with information on contractors in core population zones. This data mining was achieved extremely quickly with Java multithreading, and the data is stored in a many-to-one-one-to-many object->relational mapped set of Data Access Objects via JDBC MySQL Connector and Hibernate Templates. The PHP/MySQL rendering of that set of data was achieved by a script I taught to effectively write thousands of other scripts, which together make up the virtual army of directory pages per core population zones. This is the way in which the Sipper has already “sipped” solar panel installer/contractor information.

SolarSipper.com also currently does MailChimp API integration with complex business logics/heuristics integrated with multiple divergent UX renderings, fashioned according to divergent segments of the collective market psyche. This effectively allows the Sipper to run auto-responder email marketing campaigns targeted at different segments of the population, according to their different behavioral interactions with the Interface.

The Sipper has an ever-evolving section of the site revolving around Solar Group Buy. This section of the site is organically evolving into a geo-intelligent CMS, utilizing the same local geocoding-algorithmic processes as the zip-code-lookup->directory portion of the site, along with multi-tiered users/permissions and resultant cross-integrations with not only MailChimp API (and automated campaign creation thereby when geo-dense “groups” of consumers are recognized) but also with Meetup.com’s RESTful API, in order to actually finally create a LIVE meetup of individuals in order to promote solar group buy revolution!

I am extremely excited about the continuing evolution of my baby, SolarSipper.com, and I hope it gets some more funding so I can continue to nurture its upbringing and ultimately, its destined mission to smash dirty energy on a global scale.
